The only downside was that 5 minutes before closing, I noticed that a pair of my baby shoes had been stolen...some sad stealing person must have hung around until the last minute...this would make anyone upset (same thing happened to Betty Jo) but my response was triple double quadruple magnified times 15 (due to something I can't mention as yet). I started to cry and then I got all embarrassed that I was crying. Then, that made me angry and then sad came around again, and, and - ... agh, I don't want to think about it anymore....as this gal says - "Karma's a bitch people"
So, anyway, again, thanks to everyone who came by, thanks to everyone who bought something, and it was a blast!!

so glad it was a success for you - your stand looked fantastic. What a horrible person to steal something! I must admit, by the end of the Show I was so tired, I would have cried my eyes out too if something like that had happened.

Looks like you had a marvelous show despite. Seeing these pics makes me wish Melbourne were a tad closer...well a LOT closer.
A thought...think of the sad life that little thief has to have to resort to stealing those baby shoes and the shame she must be feeling. You have such a good heart, I bet you will get past the angry-sad and arrive at compassion in a short time.
hmmm, seems not everyone in the craft world is on the same wavelength. I "lost" a few things as well and it does leave a nasty taste doesn't it....BUT the rest of the show was great and hanging out was fun (and exhausting)....
and they will go out and the baby will lost a shoe, rendering the pair useless.
Congratulations on such a lovely stall. I loved the incubator section - it was an absolute highlight for me.
Lovely too to meet so many people living their creative dreams.
As for the thief - they should be ashamed. Those shoes were so adorable, I can see why they would want them - but they should pay for them dammit!

Oh, how crummy for things to be stolen. I hope Karma does bite them, and soon. The show was really wonderful, you all did such a great job.
What a horrible thing to happen. How could someone be so mean and greedy? Everything about your stand was just so beautiful. I hope that offense comes back to bite the person on their bum.

I wonder if you would consider making a slightly larger pair of slippers for Peanut? As I mentioned, she's sadly grown out of the pair you made her a while ago, although I will always love them, and her dolly now wears them. I loved the Mary-Janes with the velcro clasp, they are awesome. I did think you looked rather radiant at the Show, and just think of the reward, even though you are paying an emotional toll right now :))) Just think; the thief's little baby is wearing your gorgeous shoes right now - and he or she have no idea that they are an ill-gotten gain, and probably look gorgeous in them.
I can't believe that someone took something from you - how awful! I hope that you will remember all the lovely things. It was so much fun to share this with you.
